Matt Spencer

Coaching is my full time role and I am passionate about helping golfers realise their potential and achieve their goals. I love to build relationships with all of my clients and truly get to understand how I can help each and every one of them.

I don’t believe in a one off lesson quick fix and so do not coach in this fashion, instead I create a journey for each golfer and fully support each and every one of my clients along the way.

My Location

I coach at Essendon Country Club in Hertfordshire alongside a team of professionals, all passionate about providing the best experience possible.

Essendon has 2 great courses as well as an undercover driving range with the latest TopTracer technology. We were the first Golf Club in Europe to install the mobile version of TopTracer onto our driving range.

Indoor coaching is also made possible using our Swing Studio should you enjoy using technology on your lessons.

Other Responsibilities

I’m proud of my role within Hertfordshire Golf, where I lead the Winter training sessions for one of the Under 18’s Boys set up.

I am lucky to work alongside other great coaches helping to create a pathway for our County’s future golfers.
